Mister Kristofferson

In april I'm going see Kris Kristofferson in concert at the royal albert hall. I have been a fan of Mr Kristofferson's music and his acting for many years, he has done some very dodgy films, but you can't mess with Convoy. Anyway I think his music is amazing.

MacUser Magazine Interview

So so then I had a interview In MacUser Magazine which came out late last year.

Izrock Pressings

Blimey I think in the autumn of 2004 I spoke to a very friendly chap with a lovely moustache called Joe Allen who kindly asked me if I would like to publish a book of my work with him. I said yes indeed, but I didn't realize how long it would take to make it, I guess some things are just worth spending time on. So then since 2004 many things have happened and changed, Joe doesn't live in london anymore, he resides in sydney and is running and doing very good things at the Monster Children gallery, anyway if all goes well the book will go to the printers next week. yeah....and sometime in march the book will have its offical launch in london.

Antwerpen

I recently returned back from a trip to Antwerp for the Lucky Seven exhibition, the gallery was in a disused kitchen in a office block. Anyway thanks to Eva and the kind folk at Lucy, who made everything possbile and also sorted out bicyles for me and the other artists to ride around antwerp and stop off and eat frites and drink beer.

Sadly one of my favourite places to sit and drink tea The New Picadilly Cafe has closed. I will miss the waiters and the bright yellow custard that came with the desserts.

'Happy London' Exhibition in Tokyo

Yes yes indeed I have some work in a exhibiton in Tokyo, here is the info about it.

Happy London (Paul Smith, Tokyo)
From 13th April for 3 weeks
Paul Smith SPACE
5-46-14 Jingumae, Shibuya-ku, Tokyo

“Happy London” is a group show exhibiting the works of young, new and established artists and illustrators from London.

Each one has been hand picked by Paul Smith as he feels they embrace the positive spirit of London in 2007. All have a common link in the fact that their artwork is natural and charming, some have a folk aesthetic but all have a positive spirit that counters much of the hard and shocking imagery that exists in the world today.

The Artists
Adrian Johnson, Hanne Barr, Ian Stevenson, Kim Jenkins, Marcus Oakley, Matt Sewell
