Sadly one of my favourite places to sit and drink tea The New Picadilly Cafe has closed. I will miss the waiters and the bright yellow custard that came with the desserts.
I shall not be lamenting the closing of NPC as I think it's overpriced bad food, they have always traded on being an irony and if I want real working class food I'll go down Manzes P&E House in Peckham. I'm fed up of this place being perceived as 'cool', the truth is it's a fuck**g shit-h*le and the yuppies should f*ck off and get back to their piss**g gastro pubs. However I do like your painting of the NPC, perhaps do a series on this theme - and call 'Overpriced Shit Holes For Morons'.

Indeed Marcus, indeed. I too will miss those soiled white waiter suits and sixth generation photocopied menus. It was a great place.
